Chives

Chives are one of the first edible plants to grow in the spring. They have a light onion flavor and can be eaten raw. 

Chives will get some pretty purple flowers in mid-July. By then, the stalks have become a little hard and woody and don't taste that good. 

Clip off a few stalks and try them! Take some home and try them on scrambled eggs or a bagel with cream cheese.
