Green Onions

Green Onions (or Scallions) are a wonderful onion that has both a lightly flavored green top and a more pungent white bulb that are both edible.

Chopped up, they are a great topping on stir fry, soups, and salads. 

You can pick and eat them whenever you like. You can even replant the little white portion and it will re-grow (although it gets a little weird shaped!)
